… include conversation about the social differences between Abraham and the socialized man, or in this case, the animal kingdom and socialized man.

I absolutely love the ones that pat me on the back for balking at trying to endlessly conform to the wishes of a capricious and generally largely anonymous mass. How much of our behavior is decided on as a way to avoid social disapproval from others, after all?

The Kitten Hunter Video

A friend of mine on Facebook said his kittens were getting to be proficient rodent hunters, and offered to upload a video of the two kittens tag-teaming unwary chipmunks complete with chow-down at the end.  If the thought of this excites you about the opportunity to watch the awesome and interesting animal kingdom in action at the kitten level, you’re with me.

If you’re not, listen to today’s Daily Dose of Abraham piece a few times to get you back into the vortex after my story. 🙂

I appreciate so much the fact that I have a life of freedom and creation and relaxation.

I have been blessed with a lot of time to learn how to align with my inner joy, and more and more I find that any small deviation away from feeling good is very obvious, and I begin the process of re-programming my thoughts on that topic within days instead of months.

Sometimes I’ve allowed myself to fall into the pit of despair, because I haven’t yet dealt with the thought pattern that “sometimes it feels good to feel bad and have a good cry”.  But thankfully, I’ve made vast improvements on that vibration and all of its supporting thought structures, and I cry much less often.

Being In The Vortex Is The Most Important Thing

I’m glad to have a lot of Abraham Hicks audio material handy in complete emergencies – for those days or nights when the demons are whispering very loudly in my ears and I’m having difficulty emotionally pivoting, I choose a random Abraham workshop CD and put it on repeat. Abraham’s conversations are extremely soothing in this situation, I highly recommend the habit.

But most of the time, the demons aren’t howling at the door, and I’m not trying to so strongly distract myself from negative thoughts.  Sometimes I’m simply dealing with a feeling of boredom or slight frustration, and I want to catch the negative feelings and reverse them in the early stages.

Personally, I find that documentaries and other sources of educational material are an excellent way to raise my vibration into happiness, excitement and even sometimes awe or giddy joy. Learning about how we as humans got to where we are is amazing.

And then I can take that energy back in order to ponder workable and loving solutions for other things that I’ve had troubles staying in the Vortex about.

How about you? What kinds of things do you do to keep yourself in the Vortex when you feel yourself slipping out?

Well, the least I can do is change this default post so people know that I actually intend to do something here.

Eventually I’ll post stuff here. Sometimes it’s just about being able to leave notes on other WordPress blogs that is the priority for a while.

In the mean while you can find me on YouTube, Squidoo, and Facebook.
